The thirst project is a movement of high school and college students that raise awareness to bring solutions for clean water crisis. The thirst project program educates people to explore the human energy and to take action in the project. The thirst organization was born I the summer of 2007 in Uganda.
The problem with this, is that there's unsafe water. It's approximately $8,000 in Uganda and $20,000 in Konga to build a well with for safe drinking water. Donating can make a difference, even if it's just a dollar, or so. The solution to this problem is everyone, by donating money, the thirst project can make a huge difference for people who don't gave access to clean water. (One of the countries being helped by the organization is Swaziland.)
People can help donate, even if it's loose change. I raised money by doing chores for my mum, a dime a day, it only it only took me about 10 days to raise a dollar for the thirst project. By donating, I know this will help the people who don't have access to clean water. Without clean water people can die of dehydration, can get really sick, or end up with parasites. Everyone in school have, including myself, have not experienced lack of clean water, we are all fortunate.
